Animaniacs Intro

The project for my Digital Typography class was to take an intro from a show from the 90's and animate text to it. I chose to do one of my favorite show "Animaniacs!" All backgrounds were created in Photoshop. This was my first time working with After Effects and I have loved it ever since!

Did You See That?

This video was created for a 24 hour animation competition called "Juiced" for the Citrus Cel Animation Festival in Jacksonville Florida. I was responsible for the girls character designs as well as the monster's head. I animated the monster looking up, the "glittery eyes" scenes, the girl touching him,the chewing scene, the letting the girl out of his mouth scene and the knocking over the teacup scene. My other teammates for this competition was Melissa (Malitia) Miller and Kelly Arnold. Everything was designed in Illustrator and animated in After Effects.

Award Show Opener

This was for my Motion Graphics class. The assignment was to create an opener for an awards show so I chose to make one for the Country Music Awards. I created all drawings and borders used throughout the animation in Photoshop and everything is animated in After Effects.

"The Birds" Title Sequence

This was for my motion graphics class where we had to take a movie directed by Alfred Hitchcock and create a title sequence for it. I chose to do this movie because it didn't really have a title sequence and it gave me the flexibility to do whatever I wanted. I used my own handwriting for the text and all drawings were created in Photoshop. I animated everything in After Effects.

Studio Time

This was a stop-motion animation for my audio for animation class. The idea was that a model kept disrupting the artist until he couldn't take it any longer.

Ball Walk Cycle

Here is my final video of a character walk cycle. He is simple so all we had to focus on were his legs and hips.

Full Body Walk Cycle

This one is a full body walk cycle. I must say, before doing this assignment I never realized how important the arcs in the arms are for a walk cycle.

Ink and Paint

This was for my Digital Ink and Paint class. I only colored the curtains, stage, pillars, audience, and I colored the entire animation. I did not do the actual animation. The animation was done by Brian Oakley.
